mcmillan fclass stock?

Anyone here use a mcmillan fclass stock for f/tr? If so how do you like it? I am looking at one to use with my star shooter bypod. The other thing is weather i can inlet it to work with my Musgrave RSA action.

Thanks

I would stronly suggest you look at the McMillan FTR stock, if you are going to shoot off a bipod. There isn't much meat up front on the Fclass stock, although the brand new design might be a bit better.

I would recommend the New F-TR stock, many of the US team are shooting the new stock with great success. Give Kelly a call and I am sure he will build you one.

Dmboat any pictures of this stock floating around?
I'm not sure if you want a shot of their F class or F/TR stock. Anyway, here's my McMillan F/TR stock.

Truth be told, I much prefer my Boyd's stock at $119 to this McMillan costing about 6 times as much. And that's for a raw stock before I spent a lot of time getting rid of the very ugly, heavy stippling around the grip and on the fore-stock. What was McMillan thinking? These stocks will be shot from a bipod and rear bag with the shooter hardly holding on to it at all, but the stippling was more aggressive than the non-skid on an aircraft carrier deck; WAY overdone. I suppose if you wanted to use the stock as a club, the McMillan would prevail over my Boyd's F-Open stock, but other than the brute strength and weight of the McMillan, I'd much rather have a Boyd's on my F/TR gun, especially considering the price.

The new McMillan F/TR stock is called the "XIT". Many of us on the US Team are shooting this stock and it has performed great. The hardware is first class, weighs about 5 lbs complete. Best of all this stock tracks very well and stays on target after the shot better than any I've used.

McMillan Stocks is a world class company!
