McMillan Carbon Fiber at an attractive price

I have found a vendor that has McMillan carbon fiber long range type hunting stocks for a Remington 700 LA BDL at a very attractive price. I'm presuming it will need the pillars installed and require bedding, and while I'd like to think I'm capable of doing that, I don't trust myself to be able to do it well and I think I would prefer to hand it over to a gunsmith. If I wanted to attempt a bedding job I think I'd start with a junker stock of some kind for practice first and redo it multiple times until I got the process right. Could be really time consuming, huh! What would be the reasonable expectation price wise for bedding a Bighorn SR3 into that stock?

If costs are a consideration then you really should get over your fears and do it yourself. It’s not complicated and there’s plenty of tutorials available here and elsewhere on the internet. Dusty has just posted one in the last few days in this section of the forum. I swear it isn’t difficult.
