Is there a physical or practical limit to how thick a neck wall can or should be? I have formed 30br cases
from 22.250 brass. The outside neck diameter with a .308 bullet seated is .342 inches. If I cut a chamber
with a neck of .346 it will have enough clearance. BUT, the neck wall will be .016 thick. Is this too much?
Looking at factory 30-06, the neck wall is around .012. At what pint does a neck wall become too thick?
