Maxi-Tracker Stock

I have and use the all aluminum version. I'm very pleased with the results from this stock on both of the barreled actions I have.

The only area of improvement I'm planning is to get a better front and rear rest to replace the ones from Bill Shehane . Probably a custom from Bob Pastor, "The Viper" (http://www.viperbench-rest.com/index.html.

Note that some feel that the wood version is better at quick vibration dampening. From my experience this is not a problem but I'm a "picker" not a "runner".

Thread said Maxi Tracker. I understand better now. Pretty hard to get a Maxi that light. Hopefully you’ve got it shooting good!

26 pounds with a Maxi Tracker is a. lightweight. Usually they run between 65-80 pounds.
My Ol' Maxi Tracker still weighs 65#....with a 5/8x6x18 inch steel plate on the forearm and 5/8x3x12 inch on the butt.

Won quite a few HG relays and matches with Tooley's 7MM Boo Boo wonder child back in the day
when LR 5-10 inch groups were still competitive....wow that's a long time ago.

Gotta let the BIg Dog eat once in a while....
