33.5-34 is an appropriate according to data but you should look it up by googling ramshot load data.

AA2230 is best in mine. Don't know what "max loads are. Most accurate working loads in my gun are the 58Vmax load with 35.0/2230=3855fps. With 55gr. Blitzkings it's 35.5gr/2230 @ 3919. It's really whatever shoots best in your gun and shows no signs of overpressure. These loads were done in '05 with a new keg. Powder lots since then could well have changed a bit.

I'm loading 34.6 AA2230 with 58 vmax's in a couple of zero freebore 6BRs, one has a Shilen barrel and the other a Krieger. They shoot tight little groups.....but, what properly built 6BR doesn't ?

Both run about 3775 to 3800 depending on the tempeture, be sure to use a CCI 450 primer and Lapua brass.....otherwise things get sticky real fast.

Using a muzzle brake on these 6BRs while shooting praire dogs puts a constant smile on ones face.....makes you forget about any other rifle you brought along......just saying.

The Hornady Manual shows Accurate 2230 at a max of 31.6 doing 3500 using a COAL of 2.140” Rem 7 1/2 Primer, 24” bbl 1:14 twist.

Load data.is a good starting point but only your rifle and barrel can tell you what your.max is. I find max and back off till I find the accuracy node closest.

I have a savage target action with a jim hart made and installed barrel with a 14 twist and in the dog fields I shoot 55 grain nosler varmagedon at 3750fps and accuracy is superb.
