I’ve got a nucleus on a John Hancock rifle from PVA. I need to sell it because I haven’t shot it in a long time and don’t really have a use but the action is so nice I just put it back in the safe every time.Seeing is believing.

it seems their steel of choice is 4340.
The only thing would question is their RC hardness of 53. I am wondering if that is a miss print. 43 RC would seem more in line with the ideal properties of 4340.
