Matches In Southern Arizona??

I live in Southeast Arizona and would like to see how good I am at this bechrest sport. I know theres a club in Safford but can't find any info on it. Anybody on this site know where I can start looking for some match info. I live in Willcox, quite a ways to drive all the way to Phoenix. Any help would be much appreciated.

I don't know if they have Benchrest matches or not but ya might want to try the Tuscon Rifle club. Check out their website and try contacting them. I go down there every once in awhile for their monthly 1000 yard High Power match in which I shoot
F-class,the prone benchrest).

I don't think you will find any registered Benchrest matches anywhere but at Ben Avery. We shoot there the first week of each month from Oct thru April. You are about the same distance away as me if you go up thru Globe. Otherwise you'd have to go thru both Tucson and Phoenix and I wouldn't wish that on anybody. We also have shooters from Utah, Nevada, New Mexico, and California.

There may be some local clubs that have informal matches but I'm not aware of any. You'd have to try and contact them.

As DMAC said, there are registered long range matches in Tucson but I have never heard of them shooting point blank.
