This question pertains to loading for a 1000 yard match; not sure of the loading procedures for other disciplines and the amount of ammo needed per match.
.
Most shooters are quite anal about neck tension (like me) and usually load 1 or 2 nights before a match. For a single match, you would load 20 rounds for your relay (10 sighters + 10 record rounds) and an additional 20 just in case you win your relay and get in the shoot off. You go to the match and shoot your relay (20 rounds) and don't get in the shoot off. The next match is not for 4 weeks. You load 20 new rounds for this match and have 20 loaded from the last match. What do you do with the 20 rounds you loaded a month ago to get the neck tension consistent with the new rounds being loaded a month later? Pulling the bullets and risking jacket damage is not an option...what options are left?
Thanks guys.
