Martini Cadet

I have a beautiful little Martini Cadet that's been rechambered for .357 Magnum. I think the front sight has been replaced because it's a pretty little Gold Bead that makes accurate sighting easier. I decided to try some Lil'Gun because with its limited extraction there is no pushing the threshold unless you carry a rod to aid in extraction! ::)
I chrono'ed the load and it does 1747 fps so Lil'Gun and its 24" tube seems to work together well! I think next year I'm going to try and cap a Whitetail with this little "Wand"!
5 rounds from 100 yard Bench, Remington 180 grain SJHP/Lil'Gun/BR-4/Starline case.

That aussie is seriously sweet. You have a nice rifle and it looks really accurate. You should try some hard cast lead through it as well. Cast shoots really nice. You can get coated bullets from several places that have a polymer on them so no leading.

Thanks Jon. I've had it for several years but never shot it much. I originally tried some of my N105 and 2400 heavy loads for in my L-frames but they were very sticky on extraction. Pulled it from the back of one of my safes and using QuickLoad figured Lil'Gun would keep pressures down and velocities up. I have a slew of hard cast checked boolits of many designs, SWC and WFN in 158 to 200 grains. I will give them a try but those Remmy's set the bar high!
