Mars II reamer Stop, Best purchase!

I've been meaning to buy a Reamer stop from Nate Lambeth Sr. (Custom Guns & Ammunition LLC) for some time now. I did a barrel a month ago and ran it a couple thou deep. Well about an hour later after re-timing everything and recutting the chamber i said to myself "this is stupid". I had just wasted an hour over a stupid preventable mistake.

Later that day I got in contact with Nate and ordered one of his MARS II reamer stop kits. Should have done it years ago. Did a barrel yesterday and with my flush system, chambered a barrel in 20-30 minutes. Ran it short, dialed in the last 14 thou, dead nuts! Dialed in one more thou, dead nuts.

Anyone doing more than a couple barrels a year, I would recommend this tool! I hate wasting time in my shop especially when I make the mistake. Time is money and being able to dial in your reamer with this tools saves more time than I expected. Should pay for itself in no time.

I have no affiliation with CG&A, just posting for a great product.

I believe Nat sold his to PT&G.

Did that happen since this update from Nat

I believe Nat sold his to PT&G.
As in the post above I remember Nat stating in multiple posts over the years that he split with Kiff and was supplying his directly.
Here's another where he states this:

I must have slept through this.

Before I give my boys my lathe I use to do a barrel a year just for my self . I bought one of Nate Lambeth reamer stops and it really work great for me , the only way to go . YES I wish I had my lathe back !!

I read about this prior to ordering mine. After reading it, I made it a point to purchase directly from Nate and note that in my original post to support him and his product.

My only very minor complaint is some plastic jars/containers for each size would have been nice to have been included, but I can source those myself.

I got mine 3-4 years ago, each piece came in a jar with a cap. I tossed them. They all live on top of a pig mat in a drawer.

Do y'all know if Mr. Lambeth is still selling these tools? Website is no longer available and email bounces with no valid mail record message.

Thank you,
Hank

Interesting. It was active in the last year or so but I can’t remember exactly how long ago that I looked. Hopefully he’s still around with the MARS II still available. I have one of the very early units and thought about buying a second updated one but never did.

I got an extra one a few months ago along with some other stuff and it took a minute for communication. Took about a month to get me squared away, but well worth it. He's great to deal with.

NLambeth@customgunsandammunition.com is the email address I used.

Thank you, @TylerFromMS. I sent Mr. Lambeth a second email and he did reply with this message:

"Sorry I am all sold out. Not got any plans to make any more."

Looks like I missed out on the original - bummer.

Hank
Man that sucks. That’s one thing about the shooting hobby that scares me- these guys retiring and having all this knowledge and ingenuity and no one to pick it up and carry it on.

I've reached out to my CNC buddy about possibly making some up. I have the original MARS for an example. I'll see what he says about if he thinks it'll be worthwhile. Might put that machine to work when it's between other jobs. We'd have to farm out the laser engraving for now. Eventually he and I need one :)

After reading this post I sent Mr. Lambeth a email and was informed I was a day late and he wasn’t making them anymore and he sold the last ones a couples month’s back. I later contacted a friend who had two and I snagged one the other one he was going to keep. I got lucky!
