Marlin XS7 stock

Is there anyway to shorten up the rear grip on these stocks? I need a filler of some kind to shorten up the distance between the trigger and the curve of the grip. Is there any kit available from a supplier? Thanks, Barlow

I'm not sure a youth model was offered for these .
If you check with Boyd's they will probably have something to fit , especially the new ' ugly ' at one stock they have . Sorry ugly is the only word I have for such an item .

If you dont care what it looks like and youre handy a bit build it up with some type of fiber filled epoxy and paint it. I doubt theres much of an aftermarket for xs7 rifles but who knows.

Thanks for the replies. After sleeping on it I remember a friend who is an expert at the epoxy thing. He actually made a fiberglass cab for a Samurai 4x4 that looks factory. Barlow

The Remington 783 short action is a spin off of the Marlin . They changed the receiver screw location to have room for a detachable mag .
Meaning it would /could fit if you redrill a screw hole for the stock .
