So I was cleaning my brass and noticed marks by flash hole inside of case. Never seen them before. I use stainless pins so cases are really clean. Looks about the size of firing pin or decapping pin.
Any thoughts?

I don't know how that die is made but is there a chance you may have it set too low and the collet nut (or whatever holds the pin itself) is contacting the web?
No. I adjusted it to bottom out then bacaked it out a full turn and a half. Should be well off the bottom of case
Any chance the decap shaft is loose? No. I adjusted it to bottom out then bacaked it out a full turn and a half. Should be well off the bottom of case
A general decapping die is not supporting or guiding the case, from which there can easily be levels of mis-alignment to the cases going up into the die. Where as sizing dies with decapping rods, are a match or in close proximity of the case dimensions, there for guide the cases into alignment.
Sort to speak, "its the nature of the beast" with general decapping dies is my input.

I deprime with my F/L-sizing dies. Some of which I don't use the expander ball, either by not having one on at all or by using a smaller under caliber ball, so there is no contact with the case neck (for better concentric's).Donovan I was always under the impression it was better to decap separate from the sizing operation?
