How far from range to good motels and restaurants?

The town of Orangeburg is about 8-10 miles away. A lot of people stay in Santee S.C. which is about 30 minutes away from the range. Some folks even stay on the south side of Columbia which is a further drive but many more options for food lodging and entertainment....although this crowd down here is usually pretty damn entertaining to say the least. The Orangeburg range is a tough one, but we always have a great time no matter how the shooting goes!

All 5 score and group targets will be shot at 300 meters. They will be alternated score/group/score. 5 targets the first day and 5 the second day after a bench rotation is the current plan. This is to create some excitement within our shooting family , no matter what organization or discipline you compete in regularly. We have enough people trying to take our guns and cause problems in the world right now. It's time we put our differences aside and come together and ENJOY a friendly competition with some of the best shooters in the nation. if you think you fit in that mold 11-14&15-2020 in Orangeburg ,SC is where you need to be! Who has the most accurate rifle? PRS? Long Range benchrest? Score? Group? F-Class? AR platform? your grandfathers hunting rifle? The targets used in this match are going to be the IBS targets. Orangeburg, SC is an IBS affiliated range and already has the IBS targets.

Stan, This match has 2 requirements! A positive attitude towards others and a gun. It is open to ANYONE with the above requirements until I get 160 guns. Thanks and I hope you can make the trip. I don't think Mr. Bud Light will attend though!
