March Scopes with LR reticle

This is a question for my fellow short range BR shooters who compete in either group or score shooting.

I’ve considered this reticle numerous times because it would allow me to see more of my wind flags in the scope than a traditional reticle. If you have experience with this reticle, I’d like to hear your opinions on it. Any observations are fair game. Thanks.

The theory is fine.
It helps one see the last 2 flags at 200 yards but I had to still realign the scope after viewing before shooting the group.
I have had 3 scopes with the LR reticle 50 power
I have upgraded to the High Master scope and I did not get the LR reticle on these scopes.
There is nothing wrong with them

Thanks guys. I generally set my flags up where I can see the last two at 200 yards through the scope. I thought for sure I’d be able to see one or two more with the LR reticle.

I shoot both eyes open to watch all my flags, but thought this reticle might help, especially from 80 yards out.

I use it and love it. In this day of higher and higher magnification, it can only do so much. I use it it a 40x scope. I had the same reticle in a straight 60x and sold it.

What Tim said is true, you still have to watch the flags on either side of you but having 2-3 far flags in the scope let's me see more subtle changes that I can't see with the naked eye at distance.

If I am not mistaken Samuel Hall was a big fan of this reticle and I would think it would be worthwhile reaching out to him for his experience and thoughts on this matter.
