March Scope

So I dropped the coin on a new March 40 - 60 EP-Z High Master. It arrived today and when I opened the scope box there is a scuff completely though the scope finish to the the shiny metal on the top of the objective. I contacted Bullets customer service and a nice lady took my information and said someone would call me, but she figured they would exchange it. After I thought about it a while, I'm thinking this very expense scope is supposed to one of the best and hand-built, how did it leave the March shop in that condition? If their cosmetic quality control is that poor, what else are they letting slip by? Thinking of asking for a refund and getting another NF Comp. Disappointed to say the least.

might have (probably even) happened at some point after it left the shop. You are making a fairly big assumption there I think. I've dealt directly with Deon several times and I guarantee you they would not overlook something like that.

Things happen even on the nicest products and even with the greatest of customer care. I’m my opinion they did the right thing and are trying to make it right. Personally I believe every company and every person deserve that much.

Just receive a call from a gentlemen from March Optics USA. He assured me the scope had to be damaged somehow after it left the factory. He inspected a new one from their stock and is shipping to me along with a shipping label to return the one I received today. Called me back the same day! Now that's customer care!
