March Scope Repair Delays

Maybe Deon Optical have dropped the ball on timeline repairs lately. I was quoted 4 weeks which apparently is normal but.
My March HM 10-60x56 had issues with POA shift so I sent it back to Deon Japan, It's been 2 months at Deon so I sent them an email asking about the delay. They confirmed POA shift and were having issues resolving this and some other internal component that they couldn't remove and this was also causing delays. Not entirely happy with a 2 month delay and it's still no further to being fixed and returned so it could be many more weeks before I hear of or see my scope again. I'm to the point of thinking of buying another scope to get shooting again.

The good folks at March were fantastic to work with when I had a scope issue a few years ago.
I hope what you are experiencing is a rare event.

I'd say it's nice to hear they were communicating with you. I suppose one way they could have improved the experience would be replacing the scope when repair was difficult.

Really good communication after my enquiry. POA shift was the initial issue and a problem to fix but done, internal parts that were difficult to remove were fixed. The scope was returned to me as quickly as possible with not to many visible new parts. Of course I thanked them for their excellent work. Yes they had some issues with the repair but it was repaired to I hope new condition internally
