Out of the 15 March scopes that I own, I have five 48 HighMasters . I'd buy another 5 more if I needed them. The super ED glass is better than the regular ED glass, but still not as bright as the NF 15-55. Holds POI very well and to me is better in mirage conditions than any of the NF scopes that I own.Thinking of purchasing a March 48x can anyone tell give me feedback
Correct. Good scope for a LV 10.5 pound rifle.if making a weight class is important, the 48 HM can help
No the glass on a NF 15-55 is as good as it gets. Even the Super ED March glass doesn't compare to it.Super Ed glass on the March highmaster is about as good as it gets
To each his ownNo the glass on a NF 15-55 is as good as it gets. Even the Super ED March glass doesn't compare to it.
I only use mine for 100 and 200 yards. I have the 3/32" dot and 1/16" dot.. The 3/32" is a little better for me on heavy mirage at 200. There is a small disk included that you can place infront of lens. It really help on bright days. Mirage is your friend, just like the wind.Thanhs. How’s the glass and mirage on a straight 48x
I guess me and Jackie Schmidt must be both wrong. Read his post above. To each his own
I'll agree that wind can be your friend but I don't agree mirage is.I only use mine for 100 and 200 yards. I have the 3/32" dot and 1/16" dot.. I’m not saying you’re wrong I’m saying you have a different opinion than me.I guess me and Jackie Schmidt must be both wrong. Read his post above.
No u see what you see. I've just never heard of one person yet other than u that has looked thru both scopes and picked the March over the NF 15-55. I like the March much better but IMO it doesn't cut it for brightness vs the Comp.I’m not saying you’re wrong I’m saying you have a different opinion than me.
