Many, many thanks for the well wishes and prayers

I just got out of the hospital after a 2-week stay. It was nip and tuck for a few days. I thought it was my CHF that was dragging me down but, it turns out my only kidney was shutting down. Doctors are fairly certain they caught it just in the time. Recovery will be at least 4-6 months and the medicine will stop the disease but, the kidney has to heal itself. Special thanks go out to Zack from Old Dominion Rifles, (forum member) for thinking about me and my family. I will be posting some stuff for sale as soon as I get my strength back up. My heartful thanks to all and happy to be kind of back in the land of the living.

Best wishes on your recovery. Suggest you don’t sell your stuff too soon. With good fortune you may want to use it someday.

Welcome back! Very glad you’re still with us. I’m sorry I didn’t know you had some trouble. Take it easy and get well. I suggest home made chicken noodle soup. Well, just about any home cooking is better than hospital food!
My wife says”You men are so stupid! You won’t go to the Doctor until you’re at death’s doorstep!” I guess there’s some truth in that.
