manson blueprinting tools

I am looking at buying blueprinting tools so that I can work on my own Remington 700's and xr100's. Just curious if anyone uses the manson tools. They seem the easiest to use but I wonder if they are as accurate as the gre tan system. Mansons seem easier to use and are portable but I know anything greg tannel uses or makes is exact. Just curious on yalls thoughts.

I have the Manson tooling. I used it on a couple of hunting rifles. If you want precesion stay on the lath. If you want to purchase one I will give you a smoking deal on one. Carl

What dont you like about the manson?.....Does it just not keep everything concentric and aligned properly? Also how lond did it take you to work an action this way?.....THanks for the reply.....

I use the Manson tooling and I'm pretty happy with it. I can do 3 receivers with it while you're doing one with the Gre-Tan system. Can you tell the difference? I really don't know.

I read a long discussion in an old bench rest forum. Most ppl were happy with the tools as well. Im going to give them a try, they may not be as perfect as the tannel system but I do know that they improve the action alot and are easier to use......thanx again
