For long range silhouette shooting why do I need a full-length Acura Rail? I also see 5" Acura rails can be installed and end of Forearm .

When an ARCA rail is used to mount a bipod, the attachment point needs to be near the front end of the stock. A full-length ARCA rail is useful when you want to balance your rifle on a tripod. In that situation, you want the attachment point to be right in front of the trigger guard. To handle both of these cases, a long rail is advantageous.
