Making a left loading port on AR-15

This is my first post, nice to meet everyone and thank you in advance for all the help. I’m left handed and shoot NRA High Power and Long Range, I'm buying a new match AR in 6mmAR and I wanted to machine a left side feeding port in the upper. How much accuracy or structural integrity do you think that it would lose by doing that? Also if anyone has some info/more articles on the 6mmAR cartridge I would appreciate that as well. Thank you.

I, too, am a lefty and Stag Arms makes full lefty uppers. It's more than just milling a loading port; there's also the issue of the gasses that are expelled sideways from the bolt carrier and the ejection of the spent cartridge.
