That bullet is basically a bore rider. Dual diameter with a tapered step from .300-.308”. It’s impossible to jam the nose in the rifling due to the diameter. What will hit the lands is the step. I would have to check notes, I’m almost positive it can be loaded to 2.260” . Look at the bullet I posted in the above photo, you can see exactly where the bullet contacts the lands.I'm just concerned about jaming that blunt bullet into the rifling. That's why I kept the COAL short.
That big round nose helps it feed around the corners of an M4 feed ramp. Don’t worry about that bullet feeding.
