Magnum Research Mountain Eagle Action

I have to mount a new 30mm scope on my friends Mountain Eagle Rifle marketed by Magnum Research Inc. The action is stamped "Action by Sako, Finland" The profile looks similar to a Remington. I would like to put a pictanny style rail on it. Any one have any experience with this action?

Contact MRI. But I believe the(EARLY ONES were made with the A series actions EG. AII, AIII, AIV, AV depending on Cartridge used Although I see on their web site the NEW ONES are advertised as REM 700s). You could also look @ the scope manufacturers various web sites for BASE fittings.
