Remington 700 Mountain action

People I have a question. Is the Remington 700 Mountain rifle action exactly the same as the Remington 700 ADL action? I am looking at a mountain rifle action to use as a project and I want to make sure everything is the same as a straight 700 action. Is there anywhere that Remington tries to save weight (like using a different type of metal) or maybe shaving some off of the dimensions? I am looking at a stainless steel 25-06 mountain rifle and if it is the same as any other remington, I am going to buy it. I can get it for a pretty good price (cheaper than other SS Remingtons I have seen lately) and like I said I just want to use it for the action and bolt as long as they are the same as other remingtons... Thanks all, BK.

The SS actions are the same, lighter stocks and lighter barrels make up the mountain rifles..
