People I have a question. Is the Remington 700 Mountain rifle action exactly the same as the Remington 700 ADL action? I am looking at a mountain rifle action to use as a project and I want to make sure everything is the same as a straight 700 action. Is there anywhere that Remington tries to save weight (like using a different type of metal) or maybe shaving some off of the dimensions? I am looking at a stainless steel 25-06 mountain rifle and if it is the same as any other remington, I am going to buy it. I can get it for a pretty good price (cheaper than other SS Remingtons I have seen lately) and like I said I just want to use it for the action and bolt as long as they are the same as other remingtons...
