Magnum primers

Hey Fellas,
I'm fixing to start load development on a 243 Win. I was wondering if I use magnum primers would it be best to drop load back a few grains.

That would never be a bad idea.
I did a small test awhile back . I found Federal 210 Man 215M's to give Higher Vol .
Wolf LRM did little change ?

Be Safe,
Don

Always start no higher than a mid-range load no matter what primer I use and I always use Mag 450's. I just don't see any reason to clutter up the loading cash with two different primers when one will do the job. Funny thing is, the mid-range load usually comes closest to the most accurate.

Thanks to all!
I am going by Berger's load manual which says 45.3 gr max for 95 gr VLD hunting bullets. I believe I will start at 44 grains and work up from there.
