Magnum primers in a 6.5 PRC

I'm running low on Fed 210 Match primers. I'm loading 56grs of VV-N565 behind a 147 ELD. In my 28"bbl, that powder and the same charge pushes a 153,5 Berger at 3,050FPS with no pressure signs out of Lupua Brass. Will the mag primer give me pressure signs

IMHO, I'd say with my experience for my 6.5 PRC and that powder, you're close to the pressure limits, but I doubt the mag primers will push it too far . . . depending on which mag primers and seating depth. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ They could push you into pressure signs if ambient temperatures you use them in are high.

You're lot of N565 seems too have a little higher burn rate than mine, so it's a lot of guessing without actually running a pressure test with your powder.

I doubt you will have pressure problems with the 215M. Why don't you drop. the charge down a little and see? I have found about a 25 fps increase and a higher sd over the 210. I was using H1000 and not VV. Things aren't perfect and you may have the use what you can get. That is reality today.

Both my son and grandson are Using,. StaBall H D in their, 6.5 and 7mm,. PRC's and F-210 Match Primers.
Both are, SUB 1/2 MOA, "Shooters" out of,.. 24 inch, Proof Barrels.
The 6.5 with, 140 gr. Elite Hunters is going 3,085 FPS and son's, 7 MM PRC,. 2987 FPS, W/ 180 ELD-M's.
Neither are showing, ANY Sign's of, Pressure or, Un-Burned, Powder. The F-210-M's, WORK, Fine !!

I know a guy in Montana who loaded 210m in a 300prc and placed very high in the Nightforce steel contest. Conventional wisdom about the 215s may not always be right. It is allleged the 215s were developed for the .378 sized cases.

IMO,. 65 grains of Powder is about, minimum, and, where, I would start using, F-215's, Or, in Extremely, COLD weather with, "Certain" Slow burning or, Ball type,. Powders.
My .270 WSM Liked F-215-Mag's , with, IMR 7828 and Berger 140's at,. 3,185 FPS ( 3/4 MOA or smaller, Group's ) From,.. a 7.5 pound, Hunting Rifle and "Tested" Out to,. 750 Yards for, accuracy.
The Load worked Fine, in Northern Arizona ( Dec hunt ) and Stanley Idaho ( Snow on Ground, in Late Oct. ) On,..
