I got lucky to get ARS make a couple chassis for my Izhmash Biathlon a few years ago but the chassis had 5/16" holes on the bottom all the way from mag well to far end. Made mounting a bipod mount not an easy task.
So, hillbilly engineering to the rescue because I like a challenge. I love my Henry Rempel but mine uses his proprietary mount and most of my others like the Accu-Tac use a Picatinny rail.
Didn't want to constantly be having to swap them out so I figured I wanted both there to use. I trimmed down a piece of 3/8" aluminum for the rail the mounts could attach to.
Long story short by removing one screw the base rotates then put the screw back in and snug the pivot and other screw and it's good to go. I have a couple small rare earth magnets that will be attached to the chassis underneath the cheekrest that will hold the allen wrench.
