All these new action threads has made me wonder if anyone ever built anything using one of these????

A local gunsmith here in Central PA has built two or three rifles on these actions and he is very pleased with him.

How's it coming? Good action? Fair action? Does OK with some additional work?

I'm really wondering if the action is true and square. Something that doesn't require additional work to bring it to its best.

I did 2 rifles on Evo2 actions in 2022. One was a P-Dog gun in 6mm BR with BDL bottom metal. From the little shooting I did before turning it over to the owner it looked like it is a SHOOTER. Also did a tactical rifle in a XLR chassis. Hope to start load workup in the next couple of weeks. Hope to shoot some steel matches and IBS 600yd Tactical class.

I rate it a very good action. At this point I have not found anything that needed additional work. I have less $$ in the EVO then the last Remington action I built on.

I’m doing an evo2 single shot as well, I’ll post an update when it’s complete, hopefully in the next couple months. So far it has been dead nuts awesome.
