Mack Bros evo II trigger hangers

Anyone know if the trigger hangers from Mack Bros are + or - on action timing? I installed a Shilen with the supplied 0T hanger and get pin fall on close (opposite of cock on close) and an email to them 2 weeks ago hasn't been replied to yet. I would like to add cock on close but they list their hangers only as OT, 20T and 30T, with no description of which way they go.

I know this is old thread but I currently have exact same issue with same components…..were you able to come up with a solution?

I ordered a +30 based on their recommendation, and it still has pin fall. I may order a -10 and try it. Did you have to file/machine a notch in the hanger for the roll pins in the trigger? Fitting the hanger with a Shilen trigger was a little more involved than plug n play on this one.

I actually filed the top half of the roll pin off each side instead of messing with the hanger.

I currently have bout .225 pin fall and am hoping to be closer to .250

Did the +30 hanger increase your pin fall any?

I will say when I emailed them questions about this as well as what action wrench fit their action the replies I got back didn’t scream customer service, it was more of a why are you bothering me.

I'll have to get the action back on my bench and measure it. I did try a couple XMP triggers I keep around as extras and it was timed rather nicely on those.

I had a bad experience with Mack Bros customer service as well. A friend of mine purchased an aftermarket replacement Rem 700 bolt from them and I installed and mated it to his receiver. The machining was very nice. I like the quality of the bolt but for some reason there was insufficient extractor tension. I sent an email asking for their suggestion and got . . . crickets. No reply at all. A certified gunsmith friend of mine looked it over and replaced the extractor spring. Problem solved. I was hesitant to tinker with the bolt thinking since it was brand new I didn't want to void any warranty by adjusting things myself. The situation turned out fine and everything is working as it should now, but the lack of response from Mack Bros was concerning to me. They may be very sharp at design and production but customer service is also super important. I hope this will be remedied. I really like giving my business to a couple of brothers in South Dakota! Made in the USA!!
