Mac friendly alternatives to Quick Load

Mac friendly alternative to QuickLoad? I'm looking for a way to run Quick Load on a Mac. I could use Parallels or VMWare, but I think I'd need a Windows license in addition to the emulator software. Is there a way to run QL in the cloud? I could buy a cheap Windows 10 PC, but really don't want another device to deal with.

I've been looking for something myself. I run VMWare and Windows 10 presently and it works.

Wine is open-source and not the easiest to use. Another option is CrossOver, which is a commercial, supported version of Wine.

I currently use Crossover and it works just fine. IIRC, Crossover cost about $30 when I bought it years ago. I also used to use Wine emulation software with OnTarget, but now it opens up with "X11". I honestly don't remember where the X11 came from. There are many PC emulation software options available. Some are freeware, some must be purchased. However, the versions that cost $ typically aren't very expensive and you will likely get customer support along with the purchase, something that may or may not be true with all versions that are freeware.

The advantage of Wine and CrossOver is that you don't need Windows, so there isn't the added overhead of a Windows license.
