M72 30-06 1967

A 400 round ammo can of m72 Lake City 30-06 173 gr. same lot number original ammo can was acquired. What am I looking at exactly?

I like 30-06, and I have several of them, but I mostly reload for them. Should I keep it or off load it? I do know this stuff is hard to come by and I grabbed it when it came available.

I've kept some over the years, I held DCM NM course with Garands in the early 90's we'd bring it home from Finger Lake Armory by the truck load.
