I have a nice looking National Ordinance M1 carbine. This was one of the earlier ones built with some USGI parts. I wouldn't consider it safe to shoot due to a large chamber. I cast the chamber and the base of the chamber is 0.015" or 0.020" larger than it should be. (Going off memory) It causes the cases to get really close to case head separation.
Therefor I'm selling it for parts or repair. All the other parts are in good shape. Has an inland trigger group so that's where i'm putting most the value on it. There are currently commercial barrels on ebay, but i don't have time to mess with my own projects.
A new barrel and this would be a fun rifle. Comes with a 20 round mag i believe. I beleive the trigger group, bayonet lug, and maybe the stock are USGI.
$500 shipped. (PENDING)
