Lyman m expanding die

This die gets great reviews and looks to be well made. The shank is two piece and I was wondering if you can just buy and change out the lower expander section for each caliber?

Might also check Sinclair. They have an expander die that used unthreaded expanders (held in place by a threaded cap.)

Lee also has a universal expander. You can get M type expander mandrels for the Lee die from NOE Bullet Molds.

Sinclair has expander mandrels, but the M die is supposed to bell the case mouth for cast bullet seating, I'll check my Sinclair, but I don't think it has that feature.

The Lyman type "M" expander is not just for cast bullets and works well with jacketed bullets. It will expand the case mouth slightly larger than bullet diameter and not over expand the case mouth. It also aids in straight inline bullet seating and reduces bullet runout.
