Ive posted this elsewhere so dont be surprised if you've already read it. I think I'm on the right path to a fix, but I wanted to post here as well for additional ideas.
So, I've had this Lyman 1200 for about 5 yrs now and the thing has been remarkably accurate and consistent. I have it set up next to my bench in the "Man cave" in the basement. I keep it plugged in, but turned off unless I'm going to use it. The other night, as I was packing for a hunting trip to MT, I heard a strange sound coming from the Lyman. Here I find the dispenser rotating, BUT,the unit it not turned on?! So, I unplugged it,let it sit for an hour while I was packing, and when I plugged it back in, the dispenser immediately began rotating! Rotten thing seems possessed. Anyone ever had this happen? What was the fix?
