Lyman Borescope and 5R/ Regular Rifling

I purchased one from Optics Planet last week for $225.00 with free shipping. Came yesterday. Going to play around with it this weekend.

Not trying to rain on anyone's parade - but my Lyman Borecam is going back for the fourth time for warranty work. Actually I think they replaced my original one the second time it went in.

Light went out, screen quit, large white ghost that took up 3/4 the screen, and now the plug that the power cable attaches to came loose from the printed circuit board. Maybe I'm just unlucky.

Worse part of it is that I REALLY like the darn thing and I use it a lot. Hope it comes back fixed this time.

I like the comparison between the 2 barrels. Had a 5C/Broughton and 5R/Bartlein chambered this year for my dasher and the barrels were not marked as to which is which. Major league chamberer, rather not go into details other than I'm not sure which is which. Any chance someone might post a pic or two comparing the two? Thanks in advance, Eric in DL

I was looking at a five groove polygonal PacNor the other day to check for copper. What a mess, looks like a 16 micro groove! ! No copper and the barrel
shoots like a house on fire. Really like the borecam to check crowns, copper, and chambers.
