LT-32 in 30 BR

I know it's really not out there, but...has anyone tried LT-32 in the 30BR?

That thread is alittle confusing as they are talking about the 30-30 intertwined with the 30 br. He mentions using 38,39,40,41 grains of lt -32 in a 30-30 than he goes backwards and says 35 grains is the best tune? Is he referring to the 30-30 benchgun at that moment or a 30 br with the 115 gr bergers?

yeah I know the post starting the thread is comparing the 30-30 to a 30br.
As you read on post number 5 has direct testing of LT32 in the 30BR

H4198 would be your best bet in the 30br....unless you can't find it.

that's the HUGE problem, can't find any powder...thinking of going to black powder..like Pope and Talbot...don't tell my wife!!

I only use H4198 in the 30BR. When you find it, buy 2 to 4, 8lb jugs. Reorder when you're down to 8lbs. Keep looking, it's out there.

For whatever it might be worth to you -- hoping you have found some H4198 by now because it pretty much the only powder that makes the 30BR sing -- I have done some very preliminary testing with LT-32 in my 30BR. I got some very respectable groups with loads from 36.0 to 36.5 behind 115-gr. Euber FBs. These loads run from compressed to "very" compressed and in my cases 36.5 is full to the mouth of the case. These loads only gave 2,960 to 2,980 fps on my Chrony but shot into three-shot groups in the "zeros".

If I had to use it in an emergency, I would go to the line with it, but H4198 is still "the Boss" when it comes to 30BR.
