I visit long-range.com and throw in an occasional barb just to keep those guys honest and remind them how the REAL shooters do it,sitting down).;);)

There are a few of them who visit this site and BR Central and do the same thing. It's all in fun and we're all bubbas.

Ray,

Yes, but are you shooting a REAL rifle? ;)

Okie,

There's also the forums at http://www.benchrest.com/forums/ . ,Benchrest Central Forums.) While they also have an area for discussing F-Class, remember this:
F-CLASS IS NOT BENCHREST. In the US, F-Class is part of NRA long range prone shooting.

Also, your choice of sports may be dictated more by the availability of matches. Long range benchrest isn't that common, so you may travel further to attend an event. It is far easier to find an NRA prone match, remember, F-Class is a subcategory of this), where you shoot more rounds in a day than at some 2 day benchrest matches.,As I've told Ray on more than one occasion, more rounds downrange is a good thing.)

YOU say F-Class is not benchrest Well it is to me.
As i have spinal problems and other orthapedic problems and shoot from a Portable bench.
The others do Prone supported shooting.
I tried but took at least a week to recover from neck and back pain along with dizziness and blured vision My doc near had a fit when i told him what i had been up to.

Aussie Bob - I had similar symptoms when I drank with a bunch of you Aussie types in a Hong Kong bar about twenty years ago while in port... I think it was from falling off the bar stool myself. ;)

Have a friend who's going to give F-class a whirl this year. He's confined to a wheelchair. It will be interesting to see if he's better able to shoot from sitting upright at a bench, or belly down on the ground. Just from working with him, I expect he'll prefer the bench.

Best of luck, and quit doing that stuff that messes you up! Stay on the stool! Regards, Guy
