LR hunting scope

After a Swarovski z5 not working out for me on my backcountry custom 30 nosler, I have been thoroughly looking at scopes. Here are the ones I have considered....
Nightforce nx8 4-32ffp
Leupold mark 5 5-25 ffp
Bushnell xrs 2 4.5-30
Tract toric 4.5-30
Zeiss v6 5-30
Trijicon tenmile 5-25
I have been leaning towards the nx8 due to weight, magnification, illumination, reticle, and the peace of mind of a nightforce. Can anybody talk me out of this one? Are there any others that need to be considered?
I can get these scopes for relatively the same price

I am not sure what you call long range. I have a 280 in a 700BDL with a Hart varmint weight barrel that I have killed multiple whitetail and mule deer with from 400 to 800 yards for about 35 yrs. A 6.5 x20 EFR Leupold with target knobs has been on it for all but then first few years. I have never shot any deer with the scope higher than 12 power. The only thing I would like it does not have is 56mm objective. No need for super high power but if your going to click it must track well.

I like higher magnification since I don’t carry a spotting scope. I don’t shoot with it at the highest magnification but like having the option to check something out. I haven’t been a big fan of vortex. I have had too many with too many problems

I have a Swarovski 5x25 X5I on my long range gun. I love it. Especially for the fact the lighted reticle is easily adjusted for brightness and it's orange instead of red. It really holds POA and clicks reliably. I have shot out to 1800 yards with It. I had a Nightforce 5-22 NXS on it first and like the X5I better. If I got another it would be the Nightforce ACATR. Maybe the 7x35. When hunting you need a good light gathering scope, especially for the first 1/2 hour and the last 1/2 hour. Matt

I have an NX8 4-32ffp. I love it. If you want more elevation, you could consider the newest ATACR, may have to wait a month or two to find one. 4-20x50 FFP 34 mm tube, 130 MOA elev! Only 14”, but kind of heavy for hunting at 35 oz. Overall I think the NX8 4-32 is a better choice for you if it has enough elev.

I have a Nightforce that I’m selling that would be perfect!

My Kelbly action has 20 moa built in. So I was almost bottomed out. Started having zero and tracking issues
Well.. it's only just over a millimetre of correction to sort out. Some adjustable rings ( do you get the UK Sportsmatch? They work) or the Burris with the inserts. Where there's a will! The Swaro is a great scope.

I have had many scopes over 40 yrs and I have settled on 2brands - Nightforce and Stiener 5-25x56. I have 2 nightforce atacr's and 6 Steiners T5xi 5-25x56. If you shop around you can usually pick one up for $1500 or less. The Nightforce are over $2k. These are on everything from a 338 Lapua which I have shot out 3420 yds ( Nightforce atacr ), 7 mm STW 2450 yds same set up as the Lapua. I have a 308 Tika that I shoot out to a 1000 yds monthly with the Steiner.. several others just to many to mention. The glass and light gathering on these two brands is awesome. Zeiss are excellent as are the Leupold mark 5's. I would avoid all others as they will let you down over time. It takes a lot of practice to shoot long distance and keep you skills up 5 to 10 hrs a month for me.
