Mine gets the same speed your seeing. If I go higher I get compressed and Es suffers. Varget was the answer, 36.5 yields 2830 with a 130 Norma. They have a longer bearing surface so the Bergers might take a little more powder to get the same velocity

How long is your barrel? I have a 23" barrel. I find it funny that most hunters think a 23" barrel is long for a short action hunting rifle. Most people here shoot 26+" barrels. I own a few lbs. of Varget and plan to give it a try.

I couldn't get H-4350 to work, but Varget woke it up

I get 2820 in my 23" Rock barrel with 37.5 grains of Varget and moly plated 130 VLD's.
