Lovin my 22-250... goodbye .223

I know a few guys that hunt deer with them. You'd think that would be under-gunned but you'd be wrong. It's devastatingly effective, particularly on double lung shots.

Nosler has a new .22cal 70gr accubond out. I'd imagine one of those new 70gr Accubonds launching around 3400 fps from a 22-250 would put a deer on its nose pretty well.

If I had to limit my arsenal to just ONE Small caliber it would be either the standard 22-250 or the A.I. and would never feel under gunned .

I love my 250s also, but you may be back with that 223 after about a thousand rounds thru the 22/250! Great cartridge, just a little hard on barrels!

Yes and no, Nikon has awesome glass and its crystal clear but I really need all the power I can get and this scope stops at 24 power. I have others that have more power but nothing free to go on this gun yet.

I agree on the need for higher power scopes other than 24 power. I like them to go up to at least 32 power.
