Lousy customer service Frankford Arsenal!

Sounds like you called them and they answered the phone. I'm not sure what the whole two weeks thing was about. It took me 30 seconds to find the number.

Avenging for what? You were complaining about waiting two weeks, then you got the number and called them and they answered the phone.
I am also in agreement on Frankford Armory customer service terrible. My Intellidropper took a dump I called spoke with Bryan back on 6/26/24 was told one would ship that Friday and if not Monday for sure well it still hasn’t shipped and now I am being told mid August maybe. The scale is guaranteed for life so much for a lifetime guarantee. Buyer beware

RCBS has great customer service maybe a day or so but not weeks and they stand behind their product!!!

^^^^^ Yes they do! But they stand way behind anything electronic. I am as old school as it gets, I still use carpentry tools that I bought when I was an apprentice in the 1970s, i just can't get used to buying something electronic and in just a few years its out dated junk.

Always have backup. Any piece of equipment can go down. I understand companies should get you back up and running quickly especially if it's a warranty issue. It just keeps good faith.
^^^^^^^^ Spot on!… and ditto!….

I think people are used to dealong with companies that make their products out in the shop, and you need a replacement they just go grab one and ship it.

Sadly, and I do mean SADLY this is no longer the case.

Most of the stuff you buy now is made in China. And if they run out of product they are waiting for the next shipping container to arrive, and there is not a single thing they can do to make it arrive any faster.

It's disgusting... I think. I think it has ruined our country. But to say that is a customer service issue, I believe, is misplaced.

I would sell ONLY USA made if I could. I sell as many USA made products as I can get. But most of the products in American homes today are Chinese. Sadly.

So after this was posted, I decided to call Frankford customer service about a media separator latch that was broken. They answered the phone right away and shipped me a new one. Can't ask for better than that.

I only have a couple FA products, they work fine. I try and buy as much RCBS as I can simply because their customer service has been over the top with everything I’ve ever bought from them. Rarely do I have a need to call them but when I do it’s pleasant and it’s fast. I still use one of their old priming units, like the old Lachmiller units, a lot and the priming rods wear out every so often, I give them a call and new ones are in the mail and even though I offer to pay they never let me. I’m on my 7th set, I’ve been using that tool for three decades. Recently they sold I believe and I hope their CS remains stellar.

I really think from talking to the techs it's just a matter of parts availability. If they have the parts they ship them right out, if they don't, they don't. And their products come from China.

I guess ol man Potter gave up on made in USA years ago.

The spring on my PLATINUM SERIES PRIMER POCKET SWAGER suddenly broke in early April this year. I requested to BUY a new spring. I've been sending them an email every few weeks for a status report. I've been getting the run-around about it not being in stock until next month, next month,..... Last response from them: "Unfortunately the Swaggers have been delayed until most likely some time in the fall, most likely September." I've had such good luck with other reloading vendors & their customer service, I have to say FA is "out" from now on for me.
Waiting on a broken spring since April. Last response from FA was "Maybe in September".

I broke my spring also. I have to say, as common as that is you would think they would order some extras. But once again it's because the units are made in China.

As urbanrifleman stated so well, American society is a throw away group now. They want cheap products. You see it in almost every aspect of everyday life. Very few are willing to pay a premium for a quality product. I work in the furniture industry. Places I have worked were forced to compete against cheaper imports. Cheap frames, inferior fabrics in the covers..etc. It applies to just about everything today. But I do make every effort to buy American when possible. Even if it does cost me a bit more. Sad part is, even American made quality is not what it used to be.

When I first got the Frankford primer seating tool, I felt I'd like to have a second flip tray for large vs small primers. I called them up and was informed they didn't have any extras. I gave them my address and about 9 months later, a second tray showed up at my door, free of charge. The gentleman I spoke with was very polite and seemed eager to please.

I'd say that's not too bad.

June 26th is when I sent my claim in today July25th I am still waiting. But because this is the middle of our shooting season and I need to keep reloading I shelled out another $325 bucks for another scale. There are other sites that have the same scale in stock just not the manufacture. So personally iam done the people I spoke with didn’t seem to care.

Yah, when you go to get a bench seat in an old car recovered and they want $1500 for the front and $1500 for the back, the picture gets even more clear!!
