Lott Re-loading

Came across a couple hundred Hornady 480g DGX bullets for half price. Thinking of getting them for practice with my 458 Lott, but can't find any reloading data. Got several manuals, Hornady included, but none list the 480g bullet. Anybody got and idea's they can share? Much appreciated, thanks.

Theres data for 458 win mag, could nearer max loads or mid range loads be somewhat starters for the lott?

or use 500 gr data, and work up, as it should be close for start loads.

I went through a lot ;) of IMR-4895 when I was working with the Lott cartridge and heavy bullets. I also used VVN-140 to develop some good loads too. Nosler shows some conservative loading as usual but you can start your load workup from here.

As others have noted, just use the 500gr data. Practice loads can be loaded to lower velocity and pressure to perfect your technique using shooting sticks, etc.
I used to use Hornady 350s and mix a hunting load in occasionally to feel the full recoil. Zero with your hunting load and look at the practice load group and ignore the point of impact.
