Lothar Walther, Actual lead time????

Hey guys,

In february I ordered a barrel from lothar walther. At that time they quoted me an 8 week lead time. Here it is almost august and I am growing more and more concerned I am getting hosed.

I've called numerous times and keep getting the "It will ship in 2 weeks" story.

Has anyone had any experiance with these guys? They have $520 of my money and I've been sitting on nothing for quite sometime now.

I am in the same holding pattern as you. I wish I could give you something positive. Other posts I have read seems to indicate that when the barrel gets here, it gets here. No rhyme nor reason.

On the other hand, I ordered a Criterion savage prefit the first week of Nov 2012. It finally got here last week after it was promised in March. Nine months seems a long time.

but when I called about one
they said 16- 18 weeks
