I have had Priority Envelope checks not made it also .Went to Post Office to get nothing but you can’t Insurance checks …

USPS Has had a system in place for what? 200 years? They should be able to kick Fedex and UPS right out of the business, instead it's typical government workers that can't be fired and don't give a shit, Saturdays just a day for postal workers to get OT, the world would not come to an end if there was no Sat. delivery. AND remember The postal workers DO NOT pay SSI, They have their own pension system that would make the MOB blush and we the TAXPAYERS have to give them any where from 8 to 20 billion every year and thats what it's used for to keep the pension afloat, They could absolutely be run like UPS or FEDEX with no help from the tax payers and this needs to happen!

I'm in Texas, so prety central to the US. I figure 1st class mail to anywhere in the CONUS is at minumum 5-7 business days. Priority mail almost the same. Had a birthday card sent to me from NorCal. Was delivered 12 days after the postmark.

Don’t even get me started on the USPS and the most recent package I sent to DJs Brass. Let’s just say that somewhere in the post office distribution center, someone is enjoying a 500 ct box of Berger 105’s and about 150 pieces of new Lapua brass. Ugh.

My (current) only gripe with the USPS (other then the people there are way over payed and there retirement program is 200% more then the whole system takes in) is I can't them to cash a BLOODY USPS money order!! A lousy $200 -$250 money order, 3 times in 2 weeks, they don't have enough cash to cover it!! Now granted a like in small rural town, but come people.....

Yea last week I sent a package out with a printed pre-paid label that had 1 day priority on it. Took it all week to get to the destination. So much for the 1 day priority junk.

Won an auction on GunBroken last month for some Partition Boolits in Oregon. Sent a USPSMO certified. Week later an empty flat rate USPO box arrived. No boolits. Showed EMPTY flat rate box to the postal critter. She said, ''Seller should have taped box better"

Fedex is no better. ln May they shipped 1000rds of 223Rem/22WMR to New Mexico for a prairie dog shoot/hunt. Ammo never arrived. Fedex delivered it to a house 150 miles from where it was intended. Their response, ''Sorry. These things happen''

I agree, seems like any service connected to the gov. has been reduced to slow speed. But in the case of the USPS,I think it is a plan to drive the Trump appointed director out. Just my thought. Jeff
