Los Angeles Stores ?

I may be in LA late April - can anyone recommend a good store, mainly looking for quality reloading equipment ?

Thanks
Martin

LA county is anti-gun so there is not much incentive for stores. So is San Bernardino county. Large desert areas closed to shooting.

Nigel,

You're best ordering stuff from PrecisionReloading, Sinclair Int'l, Grafs.com etc. and having them delivered to a California or to your hotel in Los Angeles. Most stores out here in California (where I live) have very limited supplies of stuff, other than hunting caliber dies and some popular powders.

I am 100km North of Los Angeles and can hold stuff for you if you want to pick it up before flying home.

I live in San Diego and order almost everything online. Gunstores in California are becoming extinct. The open areas for shooting in San Diego County are almost all gone. The Border Patrol, keeps shooting to a minimum because they are patrolling those areas. If you shoot on BLM land you risk being cited for violating some obscure regulation that you have no means of knowing until you read your citation.

Maybe,
Border Patrol should be shooting illegals instead of writing citations to legal's.

just a thought!!

A couple years ago a few of us were out shooting squirrels just north of teh All american canal in imperial valley on a farm that borders the canal.
A border patrol observer was driving this road, there we are set up with about 4 benches, spotting scopes, rests, and rifles pointing his direction.
We stop shooting when we see the truck. he get son his radio as he passes and soon after a supervisor arrives. Questions us, checks ID, looks over the rilfes, and asks why we are there.
He couldn't understand why people would leave Orange County to come down to imperial valley and the 105* heat. Was convinced we were running drugs.
We offered to allow him to shoot any one of our coopers at the squirrels, which he declined.
He mentioned how dangerous it was in that part of the country and said I kid you not " if you see anyone getting out of the canal do us a favor and shoot them as they are probably mules for the cartel"
We stayed for a few more hours each time the BP came by they waved at us, shooting numerous squirrels before leaving.
