I am still new to reloading, hence my question on the wide variation on primer seating resistance from new case to the next. The brass is new Winchester 223 Remington and Remington 7-1/2 primers for use in an AR-15. Some cases have quite solid resistance to the K&M primer seating I am using, but am able to seat without undue effort and can feel the primer seating. Other/primer combos offer much less resistance. There is SOME resistance, but quite a bit less than the ones which offer the most resistance. I tried tapping the case to see if the primer would come out on the "loose" cases, but they aren't moving. Anything to worry about?
