Looking to upgrade my lathe

Looking for a small to medium lathe 8 or 10 X 20-24. Any suggestions ?? Anybody had any experiences with the Grizzly lathes?
Will not be doing any barrel work, just want something to replace my Emco Compact 5, it has served me well but I'm finding it's just a little under capacity and underpowered. Any info about what's good and bad will be greatly appreciated. I am considering these particular Grizzly lathes: G 0602, G 9972Z. If you have any recommendations, I'd really would like to hear about them.

The small JETS are a very good option, I have a small 10x24P that has been in service over 30 years and has provided very good service. My new 13X40 is a gem also......

If you go with a Grizzly get the G3090 or G3091 Precision Tool Room Lathe or one of the new lathes dedicated to gunsmithing. Make sure it is made in Tiawan.
