Looking for Wolf and Tula small rifle primers

Looking to purchase Wolf and Tula small rifle primers. Anybody know where to buy or are they history?

Haven't found them in the usual places. Had a bunch previously but they pierced primers with my Dasher. Wish I'd kept them as 6xc seems to like them. Still looking.

They are a great primer Tula,s'' From what Iv'e read the distributor no long imports them.

I think there was a note about it here on the site.

I have gotten better extreme spreads on my crono with them.

I have some but no enough to share, I now use Federal 205,s

I save the Tulas for Matches

I looked at all the on line places, NO one has them , IF you are shooting in any form of competition using bullets heavier that 55 gn., I'd suggest in this order; Rem & 1/2, CCI 450 {SR Mag} then Fed 205M

CCI 450's have given the same velocities as wolf srm when I've tried them.

I have used a boatload of the Wolf/Tula SRM's no hotter than a standard primer but with a thicker cup.

Looking for the Russian primers because the 10 shot grouping was slightly better with them than Br4's, Rem 71/2, Fed 210m. Have not tried any magnum primers but will now. Frankly, hadn't occurred to me. Still at the stage-more you look, the more one finds.

Let me think on your offer for a bit. I pierced a wolf primer today for the first time with a h4350 load in Palma Brass 6 xc. I want to try some CCI mag primers tomorrow and see how they compare with the Tula and Wolf and Br4. If necessary,would you part with small rifle Tulas? Let me try and get this sorted out on this end so I'm clear on what I want and need.

I know a lot of guys that have been looking for these for months. Ammunition store claims they have them so I ordered 10K. We'll see if I really get them. Their prices on other stuff look pretty good even compared to SGAmmo where I buy my 9MM and bulk 223. Thanks for the tip Frank.

AmmunitionStore.com delivered. Ordered Wednesday evening and they were delivered at 1 PM on Friday. Shipping was fair at $14 but they're in Massillon, OH only about 300 miles from me. Hazmat sucks at $30 but it's not their fault.

They really are Wolf branded Murom plant SRM primers. The lot number is 18-09 so they've been in someones warehouse for seven years. Not something that concerns me as what I'm shooting are older than that.

Get'em if you want'em.

Thanks for follow up. Shot some CCI 450's this afternoon in 6xc with Palma brass-didn't see any real improvement. Don't understand Wolf SRP piercing with load of 38.6 H4350. I think-looking at case heads-that this isn't a particularly hot load. BR 4, Berger 105'hybrid jumped .005. May move on to large rifle primer Norma cases to see if things tighten up.
Undecided. Will shoot first match of season tomorrow, see from there.

Why worry about a primer that you cant reliably get when there are plenty of other options out there?

The SRM's I ordered a month ago(10,000) have the 18-09 and the LR primers I got at the same time (10,000) have 8-13 for lot numbers from ammunition store.
They have been the only place I have seen that have had any in a long time.

Yup, I think they're the last place in the USA that has them. I bought 5000 LR's last month.

Beginning to think this isn't worth the effort. Shortage probably will be ongoing- so make do with something I can find. Thanks all for your efforts.

Dusty-what you say is making more and more sense. Momentarily thought I had found the Holy Grail, but on closer examination, not so much.
