Looking for rear bag suggestion for MBR stock

The rifle I am building will have the McMillan Tooley MBR stock. Shopping for a rear bag...​

I did a search and found a few responses to this question from a while back for another person but figured I'd ask again to see if there might be some fresh responses.

My goal is to get the correct bag on the first try so I don't add to my collection of unused rests.​

What rear rest would you recommend?

Is it advantageous to purchase a custom bag to match my personal measurements or are people getting it done with the standard bag heights?

For my MBR Tooley, I called and ordered a Protektor Dr. Bag.

Spacing: 3/8
Ear Height: Rabbit
Ear Material: 3M Slick
Base: Heavy Sand
Ears: Regular Sand
Slope: I told them the stock model and had them match the 3degree slope

You can customize each of the parameters above to your liking......

Called Protektor and I'm gonna draw up / spec out what I'm wanting. They said they should be able to build it for me.

The ear spacing sounds the same as edgewood if I were to go that route. Thanks for the information

I called protector directly, I got lucky that he had a custom DR bag that somebody ordered then changed their mind. Fits like a glove. Long story short? Call them, they are excellent to deal with and will help you get the bag you need

A well mag bean bag rest if your best options, you can shape/mold it for your specific needs.
