Looking for infor on Ruger No. 1

I’m looking for some info on my dads Ruger No. 1. With the research I have completed it has a 131 serial number. It is a 25-06 bull barrel with a beaver tail fore grip. The gun it’s self is in excellent condition without a single dent or scratch on it. Only 150-200 rounds put through the barrel. Any info is greatly appreciated.

That description fits my Ruger 1V (varmint, heavy barrel) 25-06 to a T.

They discuss value of a 1B (sporter barrel). and those are valued at slightly less. Do the original rings go with it? If not, deduct $50

What exactly is it with respect to information are you looking for? Present value? Marketability?, you've got to be a lot more specific.

Cabelas has been selling new Ruger No. 1s recently for $800. Apparently clearing out excess inventory after acquisition by Bass Pro. Some of the older rifles have much better wood than recent production and can bring a nice premium.
